Review by Michael Bock (IRVINE, CA UNITED STATES) 2010-03-03 " First, the two versions of this camera are identical other than the fact that one has built in memory, the other does not. BUT, consider how much you're paying for that memory? Could you just buy a larger card with the price difference? Probably. Considering that for the sake of convenience you ... Among the different models and formats of camcorders in the market, some models and formats are better than others. This is because as new technology is developed, camcorders are equipped with a number of features that allow for better recording, better resolution and easier editing. Among the current crop of camcorders, digital camcorders rate the best. However, there are many digital camcorders available and some are better than others. Among digital cameras, the mini digital video camcorders (Mini DV) are at the top of the list.
As the camcorder technology advances, they also become smaller and more portable. That is why media storage comes up with these changes giving the consumers better options other than the old betamax, vhs and vhs-c.
Hard drives are now also used with camcorders, giving users higher storage capacity ranging from 60 to 120 gigabytes (or even more). Mostly used with HD camcorders, it is also easier to transfer or stream its contents to computers and media players since videos are stored in ready to play formats. But they are quite expensive plus contents can be lost once the hard drive got broken even for Solid State Drive (SSD).
The Sony Cybershot DSC HX1 is one of the most advanced compact digital cameras you are likely to find. One of the key differences between the Cybershot DSC HX1 and the vast majority of compact digital camera is that Sony use a different type of sensor. This may not mean a lot to you, but it allows for some significant differences in the way the camera works.
Demonstration of a Elmo 16mm 5-Blade projector with and without a diffuser glass for a Ebay auction. The image was projected on a screen and picked up with a Panasonic 3CCD digital camcorder on mini DV then put on disc then converted to .avi file and finally uploaded to youtube. The sound was inputed from the mic jack on the projector and plugged directly into the mic plug on the camcorder. No computer enhancement was used.
